Paddy to Paris

Great news that Paddy Shannahan, one of the eight players who represented New Zealand at the 2010 Homeless World Cup, will be travelling to Paris to Volunteer at the 2011 Homeless World Cup. Good on you Paddy. Paddy has worked hard to make this happen and will be fundraising for sponsorship over the next few months to pay for his trip and raise money for the Homeless World Cup. Volunteering in Paris will give Paddy the opportunity to meet and engage with players, staff and fellow volunteers from across the globe at this first-class international football tournament. He’ll have the opportunity to gain a wide-range of new skills and experience from the role including pitch-side assistance, event management and working with the media.
