THIS POSITION HAS BEEN FILLED – MORE INFO SOON
Are you interested in community development and football?
Do you enjoy organising events?
Street Football Aotearoa, in conjunction with local partners, provides fitness and football training for homeless and socially excluded people in Auckland, Wellington, Christchurch, and Dunedin. We have supported two teams to participate in Homeless World Cup tournaments – at the 2008 Melbourne event, and in 2010 in Rio de Janeiro.
Our charitable organisation is looking for a volunteer to develop and coordinate the Street Football Network across Aotearoa/New Zealand. We would like to strengthen and grow our network of street football projects, so as to improve the existing projects and offer more people the opportunity to play and benefit from sport. We also plan to host a National Street Football Tournament during 2011 to give the teams the opportunity to meet and play together.
